Are you struggling to achieve the same success in tournaments as you do during a typical training session?
This will probably sound familiar: You spent weeks fine-tuning your A-game only to totally fumble your go-to moves as soon as the match started. Your opponent wasn't even that good, but you just couldn't get out of your head. And you lost. Not because you weren't good enough, but because your anxiety got the best of you and the pressure to perform became overwhelming. You basically beat yourself with your own mind.
There are so many things that become out of your control when it comes to competing. And that is why it is crucial to prepare yourself for any situation, build a solid foundation, and work on your mentality around competing. Transitioning your training into the competition is a skill in itself.
Who is Tomer Alroy, and what is so special about him?
Tomer Alory is a 29-year-old Israeli professional martial arts coach and jiu jitsu black belt. Tomer has had opportunities to compete worldwide and train at multiple gyms, learning from the best instructors throughout the 10+ years he has committed himself to jiu jitsu. Not only is he leading a huge Israeli jiu jitsu competition team as a coach, but he is also a full-time psychology student with abundant knowledge of “mindset.”
How can Tomer help me?
There are three things that Tomer focuses on to set himself and many of his students up for competition success:
Formulating a personalized strategy for the day of competition
Training concepts that will be used in competition
Developing a strong mindset around competing
Despite years of training Tomer had gone through, Tomer shares his personal experience of how he himself also used to be one of those competitors who got very nervous and had to spend lots of time and effort to figure out his coping mechanism.
And thanks to his dedication, he can provide a thoroughly structured guideline of what to do based on his trial and error experience. His approach offers the most advantage and has been competition-tested by his students for a long time.
What else will I learn from his course?

Closed Guard
X Guard
Single leg X Guard
Clamp Guard
50/50 Guard
You'll find that you can pick and choose what works best for you in any scenario because Ultimate Competition Strategy gives you multiple guards to choose from.
What else is essential to becoming a seasoned competitor?
Going over specific training protocols is necessary, especially if you are a competitor. Tomer emphasizes the difference between quality and quantity in this course.
As he stated, “We believe that the quality of your training is way more important than the quantity of your training.”
He offers tons of valuable advice about using techniques during sparring and setting yourself up to implement them under pressure to the same level of success. This is the typical system Tomer uses with his students to move a technique from "I don't know it" to "I can hit it against high-level opponents during competition”:
Learning the technique
Drilling the technique
Reviewing and improving the technique
You will also learn the secrets of strategizing your training and having the right mindset to deal with adversity on the mat, including a checklist for the day of competition.
