If you’ve purchased a JJX course before August 2021, you might’ve noticed the website looks a little bit different now.  It was upgraded with a new course-viewing system and given a cleaner look for better user experience. We also added new features that were missing on the previous version, and some are still being implemented.

With that said, if you’ve been using the previous version of the website you might’ve noticed some features went missing. Due to the work we’re doing in the back end of JJX, your course progress bar was eliminated, and your favorited lessons were reset. The course completion certificates are also no longer available.

We understand this might be annoying for some, but the reason why all these changes were necessary is the mobile app we’re currently developing. They will enable us to sync the functionality of the app and JJX dashboard, which will benefit your learning experience.

We promised you the Jiu Jitsu X app a while ago, but due to some unexpected third party issues weren’t able to deliver it yet. We’re not making excuses though, our team is working hard at getting this app released and available to you asap.

To make this happen, we had to make some changes to the Jiu Jitsu X site. The changes have enabled us to better sync the functionality of both the app and the Jiu Jitsu X dashboard.

Some of the changes (please see previous FAQ) might be annoying for you as an existing customer – but we want to assure you that they won’t impede your ability to learn the game-changing skills you’re after. These changes will go a long way in helping us get the Jiu Jitsu X app to you as soon as we can.

You will find all your previously purchased courses by going into your dashboard and clicking on ‘enrolled courses‘. If you don’t see any courses you already purchased in there, please contact our customer service team by opening a support ticket via this link here

Once they receive the ticket, they will be in touch with you asap to make sure you can access your courses.

Course purchases can be refunded within 30 days after the purchase. Below are the answers to some of the most common questions we receive regarding refunds, and how long the process takes.

Where can I see the status of my refund?

You can see the status of your refund in the Purchase History section of your dashboard.

When will I receive my refund?

Refund requests are submitted immediately to your payment processor or financial institution after JJX has received and processed your request. It may take 5-10 business days or longer to post the funds in your account, depending on your financial institution or location.

I requested a refund more than 10 business days ago, but I still don’t see it in my bank account. Where is my refund?

If it has been more than 10 business days since the refund was processed by JJX, please contact your bank directly to inquire about the status of the refund. If the bank does not see the refund in their records, please contact our support team at

If you’re having trouble with an error while attempting to make a payment, you can try these troubleshooting steps outlined below.

Common Reasons for Failed Card Payments
Incorrectly entered information: please ensure you enter the first and last name of the card account holder, exactly as it appears on the card, and that you enter it in the Name on Card field.
Incorrect CVC: please ensure you’re only entering numbers and that the code is correct, as listed on the back of your card.
Incorrect postal code or code is not applicable: if your payment failure states it is due to a zip code or postal code error, please contact your bank to ensure they have the right one on file. If zip codes aren’t applicable in your country, however, and you still see a zip code field, please try entering all zeros (00000).
Outdated saved payment method: if you’re encountering issues while trying to purchase with a saved payment method, try deleting it and re-adding it to ensure the details are correct and up to date. You can also add a new card.
Using a debit card not authorized for international purchases: JJX is based in the United States, and debit cards in many countries do not allow foreign transactions. If you do not see a local payment option when checking out on JJX, call your bank to ensure your card is authorized for international purchases.
Issuing country for the card is different from country of residence: if the issuing country for your card is different from your country of residence, your card might not be approved. You can try another payment method we approve, or contact your bank for help.
Attempting payments while using a VPN: multiple IP addresses can result in authorization problems and failed transactions. We advise that you refrain from using a virtual private network (VPN) while making a purchase on JJX.
Too many payment attempts have been made in the last 24 hours: some cards have usage limitations, and will automatically block payment attempts after a certain threshold has been reached. Try contacting your bank or using a different payment method.
Browser isn’t working correctly due to caching issues: if you’re seeing a notification that your card number looks invalid or icons aren’t showing up, there may be a caching issue. Please clear your browser’s cache and try again.
Still stuck? Your bank should have more information
Some of the most common reasons bank decline payments include insufficient funds, card purchase limitations, and card security policies among other issues. We recommend contacting your financial institution directly to help solve the payment issue. If they will give you the green light and you’ll still continue to have payment issues, please contact our team by contacting our support team at

The Jiu Jitsu X website recently underwent a big upgrade, amongst other things we upgraded to a new course watching and video learning software. While doing that, all the previous course progress was reset, as the course viewing software changed.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you, but the new software will enable us to deliver the heavily expected mobile app sooner!
