Who is Robert Drysdale?
Robert Drysdale is a professional jiu jitsu black belt under Leonardo Vieira. His journey as a jiu jitsu practitioner started in his teenhood. On his path to becoming a black belt, he conquered top-tier tournaments such as ADCC 2007 and an IBJJF World championship. Drysdale is now one of the world's most accomplished jiu jitsu competitors; he is a 4th-degree Black Belt and holds an MMA record of 7-0.
Do you struggle with strategizing your jiu jitsu game?
We’ve all been there. You’re feeling like your jiu jitsu is not improving, and you find so many holes in your game that you don’t even know where to start. We don’t blame you. Training hard and training smart are two different things. While training hard can be a great tactic on its own, when you prepare with intention and strategy, you're sure to improve weak spots more quickly. You might be learning all these phenomenal techniques from your instructors and online posts, but it is a whole another task to be able to implement them in your jiu jitsu game. And when you can not apply them during the sparring sessions or mid-match, there is nothing more upsetting. You spent all that time training, countless hours watching technique videos late at night to try to figure out your weaknesses before the next day's training session. And next thing you know is you can’t seem to remember anything. It gets often frustrating that you can’t just go back in time to do it all over again.
How can Robert help me?

In his other course “Full Circle Guard system”, Robert reviews how to strategize with a modern approach to jiu jitsu. Recently, passing a guard standing instead of passing from your knees has been trending, making playing closed guard impossible. This passing style created a variety of open guards such as the spider, de la riva, lapel guards, x-guards, and more. In “Full Circle Guard System” Robert shares his bread and butter guard position that will set you up for nothing but success. In those positions, you will see yourself obtaining all the steps and details to execute constant attacks that guarantee you score. Everything will be broken down into the finest detail with step-by-step guidelines. Here are some of the guards that you will be reviewing with Robert:
Closed Guard
Butterfly Guard
X Guard
