Purchasing a Course
Jiu Jitsu X never stores your full credit or debit card information in our systems. Instead, we work with credit card payment processors who are certified under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
When you enter your credit or debit card details on Jiu Jitsu X, that information is sent directly to secure databases maintained by these payment processors, who then complete the transaction. That partner will then provide us with a portion of the stored information (such as the four digits of your card number) to help do things like document your purchases and label your saved cards.
During this process, our partner will also provide us with a randomly generated alphanumeric ID called a “token”. This token allows us to reference a saved card during future transactions, even though we don’t have the full card number on file ourselves. Because we store a token instead of the full credit card number you originally provided, there is no way for anyone who is logged in to your Jiu Jitsu X account to obtain your full credit card information from within your account. In addition, there is no way for a third party to reverse-engineer a token ID to obtain the credit card information.
Currently, Jiu Jitsu X supports several different payment methods, depending on your account country and location.
We accept most major international credit and debit cards like Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB and Discover. We also accept PayPal.
Promotions and Sales
Yes, Jiu Jitsu X does have sales and promotions from time to time. Whenever there is a sale ongoing, you’ll see an alert at the top banner of the website. We will also update you via our Newsletter if you’re subscribed to it.
Most of our discount codes cannot be used in conjunction with other coupons, cannot be used with items that are on sale already (for example on Daily Steals) and are limited to one use per user. Usually, they also have an expiration date.
We want you to be satisfied, so all eligible courses purchased on JJX can be refunded within 30 days, provided the request meets the guidelines in our refund policy. Most refunds are returned via the original payment method. Certain restrictions may apply.
How to submit a refund request
If you purchased the course within a 30 day period and would like to request a refund, please submit a request ticket through this link here.
Our 30-day policy
While our 30-day refund policy is to allow customers to learn risk free, we must also protect our instructors from fraud and provide them a reasonable payment schedule. Payments are sent to our instructors after 30 days, so we will not process refund requests received after the refund window.
Additional reasons for denied refunds
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to limit or deny refund requests in cases where we believe there is refund abuse, including but not limited to the following:
- A significant portion of the course has been consumed or downloaded by a customer before the refund was requested.
- Multiple refunds have been requested by the customer for the same course.
- Excessive refunds have been requested by a customer.
- Users who have their account reported, banned or course access disabled due to a violation of our terms.
- We do not grant refunds for subscription services after 30 days or the initial subscription sign-up. Meaning, subscription payments following a renewal period (recurring charges) cannot be refunded unless otherwise required by applicable law.
These refund restrictions will be enforced to the extent permitted by applicable law.
