After hanging out with Dean Lister, aka "The Boogeyman" for over 4 hours, we figured out why his leg lock submissions are so dangerous, and if you've got 19 minutes before you head out to your jiu jitsu academy for another morning or evening training session, Dean Lister can show you how to get the tap every time you enter a leg entanglement. It's simple, it's easy, and we guarantee it will work for you.
The 5 steps to a better understanding of leglocks
Think of these 5 steps as a train ride taking you from A-Z in loglock town, starting with the white belt friendly good aul straight ankle lock, this will be your foundation for leg attacks, master the straight ankle lock and you're off to a good start.
The second step or second chapter of this course will cover heelhooks, starting off with a lecture on breaking mechanics, followed by how to actually enter the heelhook from various positions.
Moving on to the 3rd and 4th chapters, this will open up a world of toehold and kneebar attacks, and last but not least...
...chapter 5, compressions holds. If the devil had a favorite submission, it would probably fall somewhere in this compression holds chapter, we're talking knee compressors, the vaporizer, and the calf slicer. This is the 5th chapter for a reason, and you should get very familiar with the submissions inside chapters 1-4 before applying submissions shown in chapter 5.
