Flow Theory – A Guide To Transitioning Between Guards

5.00(16 Ratings)

Description

Many grapplers focus on developing a knowledge of unlimited techniques, however, what isn’t analyzed enough is what it takes to get from point A to point B, i.e. transitioning and combining these techniques.

What’s the point in knowing all these techniques if you don’t know how to merge them into a systematic flow inevitably resulting in victory?

“Flow Theory” by Andris Brunovskis is a field guide on how to transition from guard to guard while attacking your opponent and countering their defenses. This is a tactical strategy that gives you the upper hand.

I enjoyed Andris Flow Theory course. He's an outstanding Jiu-Jitsu teacher. The learned flow transition and catches between these guards will be helpful on the mats. I'm excited to try them out.

Andris explains things so clearly and with a lot of detail while not losing the overall picture. That's a pretty rare combination. Everytime I watch one of his techniques, I always feel like, "ok I got some handle on this. I think I could implement this into my game." Of course it's not that easy and I need to rewatch to catch all the details to make the technique actually work... but I never feel like, "uhh this is too much for me, skip".
